1st advantage.. It has an offline map. The other features are ok. Some restaurants, some places to visit.. For a free app its a good app
Very useful and good advices. Of course, it is suggesting commercial and main known places. For a good general overview of cities, this application is very good. Would be great if the application comes for iPad version also. Thank you!
Awesome app. I was using it the most of the time when I was visiting NYC. Only wish they can improve the offline map.. I mean, more detailed for me to zoom in? :)

Some bad moments
Never got to the app because it forces you to give your email before you can use it.
Ads cover half of the content and you have to sign up to enter the app at all. Frustrating experience.
No bed bed bed they write GRATIS and when you download you dont know but you pay 2,38€ at me arrive a banking txt message for any payment. Im sure.
Of all the free travel apps available for the iPhone, Guidepal apps, though not perfect, are my favorite. I like most of the Guidepal apps. And I travel A LOT!
While there tends to be pretty good information and ideas, they need to do more to regularly update the apps. Most of the time the prices and/or open hours listed are wrong. This is important information for people who are trying to use the app but do not have wifi at the destination to check current rates and times.
Guidepal needs to be very diligent about updating the app with current information.
This free app has great info about many NYC places and is very easy to use!
